What is First Aid?
First Aid is the initial care of the sick or injured until an ambulance arrives.
How long is my certification good for?
CPR Certification is good for 2 years.
For daycare providers, Police and Fire Fighters, the certification is good for one year.
First Aid Certification is good for 3 years.
Will I have to demonstrate skills or just take a test?
Yes, you will have to demonstrate skills and also take a test.
Can my child get certified?
Yes, but they must be old enough to do the skills and pass the written test.
Does the CPR Certification cover both adults and children?
You can get certified in just adult, or infant and children or all three.
Where are the classes held?
Classes can be held any were at your home, office, or factory.
First Start Medical Training can also hold your class in a hall that we have available for classes.
How long is the class?
Adult CPR with First Aid is four hours.
With AED, add one hour.
